The interplay of old-fashion bulb street lights and blowing flags somehow seemed magical and perhaps a cosmic reminder for America to get back to it’s patriotic 1776 roots and turn up the good lights back on in this country. At the time of this photo, I remember being deeply frustrated by White House leadership, or lack thereof, but that is story for another day.
